Orix will efficiently convert paper hard copies, digital data, and a large paper maps (up to 42") into a well organized, easy to use, queriable library.
The benefits of converting paper data to digital files include:
- Reducing storage space
- Ensuring back-ups
- Ability to quickly incorporate data into 2D and 3D interpretations.
- All scans will be renamed and systematically placed in a well organized folder structure in Windows Explorer and be catalogued in a filterable excel spreadsheet or queriable access database.
- The library will allow you to quickly find files by data type (Geochemistry), subtype (i.e. Soil), year, company, project name, metal, and unique key words (historical project names).
- Files will be stored as pdfs, jpgs, or can be stored in the software format that the files were created (i.e.. Shape files for ArcMap).
